YogaFit describes itself as “The World Leader in Yoga Teacher Trainings” and “the largest, most inclusive yoga school in North America.” What it publishes is a course catalogue, not a club network: “From your first class to advanced certifications, we make yoga education approachable, affordable, and designed for every lifestyle.” The homepage also states “Join a worldwide community of 250,000+ trained teachers” and names “founder Beth Shaw, a respected advisory board, and highly qualified Master Trainers.” A /studios/ path on the site returns nothing, so this page treats YogaFit as an education business rather than a studio chain.

What matters when choosing YogaFit

You are buying a course and a certificate, not a membership. Every product on the catalogue page is a priced training with an “Enroll Now” link. There is no monthly price and no club pass anywhere we could read.

The prices are published per course, and they are not uniform. Among the entries readable on the catalogue: Anatomy and Alignment $277.00, Anatomy and Alignment LIVE Online $277.00, Anatomy and Alignment at MBF $337.00, Anatomy and Alignment II LIVE Online $377.00, Ayurveda I $377.00, Ayurveda II $377.00, Biofield Tuning $377.00, Biofield Tuning at MBF $487.00, Advanced Ayurveda LIVE Online $647.00 and Biomedical Aspects of Yoga LIVE Online $647.00. The same title can be cheaper delivered online than in person at the conference, and the same subject can cost different amounts at different levels.

Certificates are tied to attendance, and attendance is enforced. The MBF product page carries “16 Yoga Alliance CEUs” and check-list items for “Yoga Alliance Certification” and “Earn a Recognized Certificate.” The terms state “Full attendance is mandatory for course credit.”

The refund schedule grades on how far ahead you cancel, and the intensives run on different rules. The terms publish: “Cancellations (14+ Days’ Notice): Refund minus a $100 fee (or $150 for four-day/multi-training MBF events)”; “Cancellations (<14 Days): No refunds. Options: 1. Transfer to another training ($50 transfer fee)”; and “Cancellations Within 48 Hours: No refunds or transfers are provided.” One free transfer is allowed: “Transfer 30 days or more ahead of the training date: Students may select a new training date in their student portal without a transfer fee one time.” Intensives add a deposit: “Non-refundable, non-transferable. For India Intensives, the deposit is $1,000.”

Before you enrol

  • “Missing 1+ hour requires retaking the training ($100 transfer fee applies)” — the schedule is the contract, not a guideline.
  • The product page states “In-Person: Wait to book non-refundable travel until your training is confirmed.”
  • “Refund Currency: Issued in USD only” and “Refunds are issued within 10 days.”
  • Minimum registration applies to virtual formats: “Virtual trainings require minimum attendance (6 for one-day, 8 for two-day),” and “YogaFit reserves the right to cancel trainings not meeting the minimum registration numbers.”

The scores here are our editorial assessments, entered by hand from published manufacturer specifications and market sources. We do not operate gyms, test equipment, or hold device telemetry.

✓ Strategic Strengths

  • We hold no sourced strengths list for this brand. This is a gap in our record, not a finding: the strengths of a brand that publishes no specification sheet, no warranty schedule and no price list cannot be asserted from a record we do not have.

! Operational Risks

  • We hold no sourced risks list for this brand. We have not audited it, so we are not going to report that we found nothing: an empty record is not a clean result.
