Asset Performance Matrix

We do not hold per-dimension scores for PowerBlock. Every dimension reads the same number in our records, which means the value was never assessed rather than that all six came out equal, so we show nothing rather than a number we cannot stand behind.

PowerBlock sells adjustable dumbbells, benches, kettlebells and stands, and it publishes a warranty page that splits into two documents: one for home use and one for commercial use. That split is the thing to read before you buy, because the same product family carries two different schedules depending on where it is going.

What matters when choosing PowerBlock

Home and commercial use are covered by different schedules, not different tiers of the same one. The home document states: “Disclaimer: Home Models are not warranted for Commercial Use”. Under it, a home adjustable dumbbell gets 5 years on the handle assembly, 5 years on the weight plates, 1 year on the selector pin and 1 year on micro weights. The commercial document covers Commercial Pro 32/50/100/125/175 and gives the same components 1 year.

Benches are the exception in the other direction. A bench is 5 years on the frame and 90 days on the pads inside the home schedule. Barbells are 3 years on the handle cores and 3 years on the bar. Dumbbell stands are 1 year on the frame and 90 days on protective items; grips and resistance bands are 90 days.

The warranty only starts if you register the equipment within 30 days of purchase. The page states that you “must register your exercise equipment within 30 days of purchase” to be eligible for repair or replacement. A purchase that is never registered is not covered, whatever else it is.

Cover is limited to the original purchaser buying direct or from an authorized reseller. It applies “only to the original purchaser and purchase date from where the purchase was made from our www.powerblock.com online store or authorized PowerBlock, Inc. reseller only” and is “strictly non-transferable”. A second-hand unit is outside the policy by its terms.

You pay the freight on a replacement part. The policy heading reads “PARTS REPLACEMENT & REPAIRS Customer Responsible for All Shipping Costs”. Where PowerBlock judges a fault to be major, it “may request the item back for repairs or replacement for assessment” — that is its discretion, not an entitlement.

Buying a replacement part does not restart anything. The page is explicit: “When you buy a replacement part on its own, it does not come with its own separate warranty, and it will not restart or extend the warranty on your original equipment.” So a repaired unit keeps its original clock, and a part bought at year four of a five-year frame term is not itself warrantied.

Claims need your paperwork. “Proof or purchase (invoice or paid order confirmation) must be provided”, and photographic evidence is required to assess damage. Keep the invoice; a payment confirmation without it is not offered as sufficient.

Before you buy

  • Decide use first: home use in a busy commercial setting is disclaimed, and the commercial schedule is shorter on the components that carry the load.
  • Register the equipment within thirty days of purchase as part of the same task that follows delivery.
  • Budget shipping both ways from the start, since the policy puts it on the customer for replacement parts.
  • Ask whether the pin, the pads and the grips are the parts you will actually replace, because they carry the shortest terms in both documents.

Decision context

No report of ours covers PowerBlock. The nearest equipment-warranty reading in the library is “Commercial Gym Equipment Warranties: Why Lifetime Frames Don’t Predict Ownership Cost”, which compares published policies across the category rather than this brand, and “2026 Power Rack OEM/ODM Manufacturers Ranking & Benchmark Report”, which is about racks and manufacturers rather than dumbbells.

The scores here are our editorial assessments, entered by hand from published manufacturer specifications and market sources. We do not operate gyms, test equipment, or hold device telemetry.

✓ Strategic Strengths

  • We hold no sourced strengths list for this brand. This is a gap in our record, not a finding: the strengths of a brand that publishes no specification sheet, no warranty schedule and no price list cannot be asserted from a record we do not have.

! Operational Risks

  • We hold no sourced risks list for this brand. We have not audited it, so we are not going to report that we found nothing: an empty record is not a clean result.
What We Can Answer

Frequently Asked Questions

What is PowerBlock?

Innovative adjustable dumbbells with unique selectorized weight system.

How does FitnessNav rate PowerBlock?

PowerBlock has no per-dimension score on file, so we give it no overall score and no market position rather than a default one. Every dimension in our records holds the same value for PowerBlock, which is the default our scoring table starts from rather than an assessment, so we publish no per-dimension score for this brand. Overall score = durability 25% + innovation 20% + UX 20% + value 15% + support 10% + technology 10%.

Who is PowerBlock best suited for?

Commercial gyms, multi-site operators and studio buyers comparing equipment suppliers. In this segment the published warranty schedule and the physical specification of the machine are the two documents worth reading before anything else.

How does PowerBlock compare with alternatives?

Our published rankings place PowerBlock in 4 best lists, including Best Elliptical Under $2,000 and Best Gym Equipment Brands For Beginners. Same-sector peers are listed below, each scored on the same six dimensions.

How much does PowerBlock cost?

We do not publish price tiers we cannot verify. Verified equipment and software options for PowerBlock are listed on this page with live retailer pricing. We may earn an affiliate commission when you buy through those links, and that never influences our scores.
