Nike Training is the digital fitness surface attached to Nike’s footwear and apparel business: the Nike Training Club app for guided workouts and plans, and a separate Nike Run Club app for GPS run tracking. This page covers that digital offering rather than the apparel business, which we treat separately.
What matters when choosing a guided training app
There is no subscription and no price to check. Nike’s own product page offers “free guidance from your favorite trainers, athletes, and wellness experts”. The app store listing calls it “a portal to Nike’s top trainers, athletes and experts” offering “industry-leading workout programming and legit coaching for free”, and adds “Nike Members get free access to the latest strength training, conditioning, yoga, pilates, recovery and mindfulness content”. Across the full listing text there is no occurrence of subscription, premium, paid, or a currency symbol, so we quote no paid-tier price and cannot tell you what one would be.
Library reach is twelve markets, and the television component is US-only. The listing footnotes it this way: “VOD (Video-On-Demand) available in the US, UK, BR, JP, CN, FR, DE, RU, IT, ES, MX and KR” and “NTC TV available only in the US”. That second feature is described as “Train hands-free and get group class experiences at home” — recorded content you can play hands-free, not a live class on a schedule.
The only wearable integration Nike names is Google Fit. “NTC works with Google Fit to sync workouts and record heart-rate data”, and runs logged in Nike Run Club are “automatically recorded in your activity history”. Neither Nike page we read names an Apple Watch app or any other wearable.
Nike Membership is free and carries three apps on one account. Nike’s membership page answers “What is Nike Membership?” with “It’s free and easy to join”, and lists Nike Run Club, Nike Training Club and SNKRS as the Member benefits, alongside free shipping on orders of $50 or more, a 60-day Wear Test and receipt-less returns.
Before you download
- Check whether your country is on the twelve-market VOD list. Outside it the on-demand library is not offered, and no alternative library is described.
- If you want the hands-free group-class experience, that is the US-only half of the product, not the global half.
- Judge the programme on what is listed: total-body strength, conditioning, yoga, pilates, recovery and mindfulness, plus “Premiere workouts: Work out with elite athletes and entertainers”.
Decision context

The scores here are our editorial assessments, entered by hand from published manufacturer specifications and market sources. We do not operate gyms, test equipment, or hold device telemetry.
✓ Strategic Strengths
- We hold no sourced strengths list for this brand. This is a gap in our record, not a finding: the strengths of a brand that publishes no specification sheet, no warranty schedule and no price list cannot be asserted from a record we do not have.
! Operational Risks
- We hold no sourced risks list for this brand. We have not audited it, so we are not going to report that we found nothing: an empty record is not a clean result.
